Functional Medicine Nutrition
For Physical and Mental Health
At Integrative Nourishment, we follow the core principle of Functional Medicine: to treat the biochemical root cause of your health concerns, rather than just the symptoms.
Food is the most natural, most powerful, and least invasive form of medicine to bring about deep healing for body and mind. Through food, we aim to bring down inflammation, rebalance internal systems, and boost the natural healing process in your body.
We believe there isn’t one diet that fits everyone. Together, we will develop a personalize plan to help you discover the foods that work best for your unique constitution. Our discussions may include meal plans, cooking instructions, grocery shopping, lab tests, and nutritional supplementation.
To make your plan have lasting results, we simultaneously help you improve your relationship with food. Many people already have some sense of what they should be eating, but have trouble doing it. When life gets busy or stressful, it’s understandable that we tend to fall back into old patterns. To overcome this tendency, we provide you with ample support around the how – how to maintain healthy habits in a busy schedule; how to cope with stress without automatically reaching for food; how to listen to your body’s messages; how to handle lapses and relapses; and how to make guilt-free, intuitive eating a way of life.
Our goal is to empower you to become your own health expert in your nutritional and emotional needs, so that you can successfully return to balance no matter what life brings.
